MIN-AD has been successfully used in dairy rations for many years as a buffer and source of Magnesium and Calcium. Typically MIN-AD will replace a portion of sodium bicarbonate and magnesium oxide in the diet. The combination of MIN-AD and sodium bicarbonate provides both rapid rumen buffering after feeding, as well as longer term pH maintenance in the rumen and lower gastrointestinal tract.
