MIN-AD Standard now available in bulk

MIN-AD® Standard, a calcium magnesium carbonate supplement for dairy and beef cows, is now available in bulk for feed mills served by American Distribution and Manufacturing Corporation (ADMC) in St. Paul, MN, according to David Briggs, President of Papillon Agricultural Company.

“Offering MIN-AD in bulk will reduce the per-ton cost for larger orders and greatly improve ease of handling,” said Briggs. “Papillon is pleased to provide this additional cost-effective option to our valued customers.”

MIN-AD is a palatable, naturally occurring source of calcium and magnesium that provides nutritional advantages to both dairies and feedlots. Incorporating MIN-AD into the ration reduces costs, provides effective buffering, promotes rumen microbial growth, and improves DMI and energy balance.

Founded in 1983, Papillon Agricultural Company develops and produces premium nutritional products for dairy consultants, feed suppliers and dairy producers with the goal of maximizing feed efficiency at the farm level. In addition to MIN-AD, Papillon’s signature products include Dairyman’s Edge® PRO, BaciFlex® Clostridial Defense, Gemini Bypass Protein and Papillon Performance Proteins. What sets Papillon apart is a commitment to re-evaluating those strains every 3–5 years using regional feed and fecal sampling data representing hundreds of thousands of cows. As pathogens evolve, so does BaciFlex — delivering a minimum of 95% inhibition o
